This morning, I got to the station perfectly in time for my train – just to realise that the train was going to be delayed by 25minutes due to damage to a carriage. Whatever.
Deutsche Bahn had cleared the use of the ICE Train (InterCityExpress) for commuters in possession of a short distance ticket. This is sometimes done when delays are really awful, so it was no real surprise.
What actually surprised me is that they let me get on – although I had my bike with me. Bikes are strictly forbidden on the Ice and I regularly get chucked off (regularly though, I am cheeky enough to try again.)
Since my mobile is still in hospital, I got a picture for todays posting from the website of CAPL.
Should you want to learn German, you may want to check there for vocabulary. It might work – but I never tried it out.
I hope they repair my mobile quickly. I hate my replacement mobile and I’ve no clue on how to get pictures off the „new“ device.
So, I needn’t tell anyone: Life’s complicated. Be vigilant!
